    Lady Cassandra O’Brien.delta17
    The Gelth
    The Slitheen
    Gas-mask zombies/Nanogene people…
just going through series 1 here…

  2. You forgot to say Weeping Angels instantly turn to stone whenever someone or something looks at them, whether they want to or not (it’s called being “quantum locked”).

    • Actually the weeping angels don’t turn you to stone when u look at them. They freeze when someone looks at them. When you blink your dead. Pretty good list though you did misss some out exspessily from the Sarah Jane adventures like the bane, blathereen, kudlak, gorgon, Eve, androvax, shansheef, and from doctor who. Ood, silence, dolls, river song ( because she was programmed to kill the doctor so I presume she’s an alien)

  3. Very good but you missed some out and i think you need to branch out into past episodes like 1st – 9th doctor there are some very interesting creatures and you could show how the daleks have changed over the years and stuff like that

  4. Good list, but you have missed some vital species like the Vashta nerada, Slitheen, Blitheen and Gelth. You should watch more Doctor Who and the Sarah Jane adventures. At least i will know a lot of aliens now…

  5. NO OFFENCE, but you missed out the Silence, Sirens, Patchwork People, Krillitanes, Gas-mask zombies, the Nestene Conciousness, Reapers, Sycorax, the Ironside Dalek, the Gunslinger, Kahlers, Snowmen, Peg Dolls, Teselecta, Dalek skeletons, Oswin Oswald if she counts, Nanogenes, Memory Worm, Ice Governess, Krayafsis, Spoonheads, Aliens living on the rings of Akhaten, Vinvocci, Time Lords (including the Doctor, the Master and the Rani), the Flood, Ice Warriors, Eknodine, Bracewell, Toclafane, Sto (Astrid Peth), Max Capricorn, Varuious robots and ghosts, The Paternoster Gang (Jenny, Strax and Vastra), Headless Monks, Dorium Maldover, Weeping angel cherubs, Shakri, The Grandfather Mummy, (Lord Azlozk from Dreamland), (Sao Til from Tonight’s the Night), Scarecrows and the Family of Blood, Wooden King and Queen, Heavenly Host, Vespiform, Pyroviles, Vigil, Orderlies, Solomon, Time Beetle, Vashta Nerada, Tritovores, (Baltazar, Kaw, Kaliko, Skeleton Crew, Mantasphid, and Locke from The Infinite Quest), (Cyberslave, Chronomites, the Entity, Zaralok and Rutans from the Adventure Games), Handbots, Gelth, Cassandra, Cassandra’s robot spiders, Stewards from Platform One, Merry Geljegh Queen of Years, ‘Space Pig’, Pig Slaves, Clockwork Robots, Infected Humans, Plenty of other guests on Platform One, Robots from the episode Bad Wolf, Anne Droid, The Wire, Star Whale, Sky Sharks and Fishes, Solomon’s Robots, Androzani Major Miners, Minotaur, Gibbis the coward, Tenza, Handbots, Madame Kovarian, [is Kazran Sardick an alien?], River Song – human with time lord DNA, Flesh God, The Swarm, Cyberking, Professor Lazarus, John Lumic, Human Dalek Hybrid, I could go on…

by the way, Androvax’s species is the Veil

(and lots of Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures, Wizards vs. Aliens and K9TV monsters)

by now, you probably really hate me – I DON’T MEAN TO SOUND NEGATIVE, I’M JUST GIVING YOU EXAMPLES!!!!!!

Seriously, I’m just going through the modern series – I could give you about 200 other examples of the classic series. . .

  6. u do know that kids like doctor who 2 right I should know im 13
and people like u is the resoen why pretty much every kid in my class say curse words
so unless youre 5 u should know better
    finally, who r u talking 2

    • Yeah, I agree that kids do watch it too because I’m 10 and I like it, but there is never a reason to be so rude to somebody who made you a list for you to look at. And if you don’t like it then why insult it and be rude instead than just looking at a different list. I may be a 10 year old but my mom is 53 and she’s a wise owl and she tells me everything she knows, like doing the right thing instead than being rude and I get mad easily and I try to hold it in but so far I don’t like you and nobody wants to get on MY bad side, so back off and just leave this website or you will regret it. Also you have horrible grammar and spelling. Yeah, that’s right, you just got burned by a 10 year old, tell that to your girlfriend, I mean boyfriend, if you have one!

  7. you should all be grateful for the wonderful list that vlarvlar has made for us. I’m only 10 and have been a doctor who fan for about 2 years, i would have had to do a lot of researching and have had to take a lot of time to make a list with every single doctor who monster in it. I would have been bored with it after 2 seconds. Be happy with the list vlarvlar has taken his OWN sweet time to make just for you guys to look at, he did not just do it to get insults thrown back in his faceabout how many he missed.

You did an awesomely-epic job on this list vlarvlar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Thank you very much.
I admit that I missed some but some people really don’t know how long it takes to make a list like this.
Thank you for your kind words.

      • I made a list in 10 secs with more monsters/aliens than yours. Wanna check, entry date is September 23rd 2013 about 8:00pm

  18. this would have taken so much time and effort fuck what people are saying you got the VAST MAJORITY of the Doctor Who aliens like guys come on if you can name more then dont be pricks make a better list dont hate

    • Great list!! You did an amazing job with your list, and I really don’t think It matters that you might have not got every single doctor who monster/alien, and I would not have known a lot of the aliens on your list existed if you wouldn’t have taken your time to make it.

  19. Look, guys, how about we talk about which alien/monster/villain scared us the most and why instead of what’s missing? It would make for more interesting and less repetitive conversation. I’ll even start it for you.

Ahem. For me, the scariest whoniverse villain was The Trickster. He looked scary (a bit like the Whispermen) and he tricked you into deals in order to create chaos and feed off it. The worst part was that he took advantage of people, usually when they were about to die. His brigade was bad enough without him, making everything that was supposed to happen turn wrong. The things he did, the destruction and anarchy… It really scared me when I first saw his episodes. I’m less scared of him now than I used to be.

  20. A-Z???
you haven’t even got zygons!? Not to mention the mara amongst many others, and hey, no sign of the weeping angels they’re iconic!

  21. ok, i’m not gonna complain about how this needs this many more shakris or the silence but could you pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaase update this? im not complaining that much really because you’ve done a great job and obviously spent a LOT of time making this list. but it really needs to be updated please because weeping angels are my favorite monster ever more than daleks or slitheen or cybermen…

  25. Onto what VTEC tried to start, the worst would have to be Davros though. He scared the crap out of me when i first saw him and he still does. He gave me nightmares and he still makes me afraid for my life at times!
He is also one of the people [cough cough] well things i should say that helped me get out of a dark place i was in. I think its cool that he’s on this list. Im doing a school project on him. Thanks again for making this site VlarVlar!

  26. Great list, VLARVLAR. 🙂 please keep writing and don’t mind those people giving you negative comments. They have nothing in mind to do that’s why instead of creating their own website to make something good, they find people who can they mock or whatever.

I hope to find another website you have about Doctor Who. Great job and effort. 🙂

  27. I am not a Dr Who fan especially and only saw this string when I googled a particular thing I couldn’t remember from my childhood in 1960. All of you people all have a love of Dr Who in common so instead of playing one-upmanship with each other you should all work together and produce the definitive guide and point of reference. The original post answered my query and the guy had done a lot of good work in pulling it together so add to it not criticise or highlight omissions. Sort yourselves out, you have a common bond.

  28. This is great. Well done. Ignore the nit pickers – they just feel the need to show off how much they know. If you are not sick to death of this, one thing I thought you could add, are when the monsters are played by noted actors. For example The Editor, the Spider/human empress, the killitrane headmaster etc.
I’ve been watching this show for 40 years, and I can’t remember the names of the monsters😄

  29. what about:
    time lords
    space whales
    the vampires of venice
    the flood

  31. I just want to say that it looks like you have put a lot of effort into this list. I know that you have missed some out but it is very tricky to make a list that long. Also, you probably know this but all of the people reading this page, the Doctor Who fans, they are always going to be picky. And grumpy. I should know. Even though you have missed a lot of the important monsters out, it is always interesting to read. Of course the absence of some monsters does irritate me, but what can I say. I am a Doctor Who fan. You have done a great job with all the descriptions and putting the list together. I really enjoyed it. Well done.

  32. Clearly a lot of time went into this. It is a shame you missed some though. You could of put Bajorans, Cardassians,Klingons… (Wait, no they’re star trek species. Lol.
